Sport, Cultural and Arts Management is a specialization in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) study program chosen by the student depending on their professional orientation. The selected specialization will be listed on the Diploma Supplement, which will be issued together with the MBA diploma.

The graduate of the study program Sport, Cultural and Arts Management is equipped with the knowledge and skills enabling effective performance of managerial work, especially in the fields of culture, arts and sports. In the framework of the study, emphasis is placed not only on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, but also on the ability to work independently with professional and data sources, the ability to deduce and formulate own conclusions and opinions, apply theoretical knowledge to solve individual tasks and the ability to generalize knowledge based on case studies . Specifically, the graduate is equipped with knowledge, skills and methodical competencies in the areas of management and management, organization economics, marketing and project management with special emphasis on the specifics of the cultural, arts and sports sectors.
For successful completion of the study program Sport, Cultural and Arts Management, the student fulfills his / her study obligations in accordance with the Methodical Instructions for Study:
- Elaboration and defense of a dissertation whose topic the student chooses in accordance with the field of study. The chosen topic of the dissertation is approved by the Faculty and with regard to the selected topic the student is assigned the dissertation supervisor from the ranks of associate professors and professors working at the Faculty.
- Completion of five thematic study modules, four of which form the common basis of the Master of Business Administration study program. The fifth thematic study module is chosen by the student according to his / her field of study and profession from the range of compulsory optional study modules.

- Study thematic module Managerial Competences - the student will acquire the basic theoretical and practical starting points for the performance of managerial functions and also knowledge of methods and techniques of managerial work, both in terms of interpersonal relationships and in relation to oneself.
- Thematic module Management Economics - in this study module, attention is paid to the fundamentals of managerial economics, the issue of property and capital structure of a company; costs, revenues and profit; financial management and accounting fundamentals.
- Marketing Management thematic module - the study module offers a theoretical and methodological basis of the topic of marketing management, with emphasis on the importance of the customer, marketing mix and brand. Students will learn the specifics of marketing research.
- Thematic module Project Management - the student will be able to acquire the knowledge necessary for effective project management, which are further demonstrated in the study module in the case studies of specific projects.
Offer of compulsory-optional thematic modules of the Master of Business Administration degree program
- Thematic module Management of Public and Non-Profit Sector - this study module is recommended especially for the field of study Sports, Cultural and Arts Management and complements the profile of the graduate of this field. Attention is paid to the specification of the public and non-profit sector within the national economy system. On this basis there are topics of management differences in the public and non-profit sector, specific management methods suitable for management in both sectors and last but not least, case studies from the area of management of the public and non-profit sector are presented.
- The thematic module Strategic Management - the student will learn the theoretical basis of strategic management and will be equipped with methodological skills for strategic management. The study module is completed with case studies from this area.
- Thematic module Management in Property Management and Valuation - in this obligatory-optional study module the student will be acquainted with knowledge in the field of real estate valuation, with an emphasis on acquiring the theoretical basis of real estate valuation and the legal framework of the issue. The study module provides a demonstration of theoretical knowledge on case studies.
- Thematic module European Union and Structural Funds - the student has the opportunity to acquire knowledge of the functioning and organization of the European Union, including the basics of European Union law. The second area of interest of this study module focuses on the issue of the European Union's Structural Funds, emphasizing the position of the Czech Republic.
- Thematic module Management of Health Care - the study module focuses on the specifics of the health sector as part of the national economy, introduces the models used to organize the health sector, including their funding systems. The study module also introduces the specifics of health management and modern approaches to its performance.
- Thematic module State Security and Population Protection - the student will be acquainted with the theoretical background of issues in the field of national security and population protection and its organization in the Czech Republic. Attention is also paid to the position of the Czech Republic as an international player in the field of national security and population protection.
